My label? I don't believe in labels, but am I emo? Preppy? what??

OK, so I tend to think I'm kind of emo. but I am a Christian so I don't really see how that could be possible. I don't cut myself, and even though I listen to some secular music, I don't listen to songs that have the f-word or God-hating lyrics or whatever.

I love black, it's a cool color... but I especially love it with hot pink.

I have Tripp pants that I like and usually wear with a black top, but I wear jeans too. and I still like skirts.

in summer, my cousin called me a prep and it upset me.

she said it was because i wore makeup and pink clothes.

after that, i didnt wear makeup for 3 weeks even.

but even so, the makeup i do wear is Black eyeliner and mascara

sometimes black eyeshadow.

i like alot of the emo clothes, but i had bangs once and im not getting them again.lol im actually growing them out now

i plan on dyeing my hair black. but its close too my natural color anyway

You know WHY you can't figure out what label you are? Because people don't neatly fit into labels like that. You sound like you look emo, is that what you were asking?

Oh, and there are christian emo kids. My high school was full of them.

also: tell your cousin to get over the label thing. she's making herself look like a joke with it, and you're making yourself look like a joke by worrying about her.

You shouldn't be trying to prove yourself to her. And does it really matter what label you are? I agree with everyone else who says you can't just fit into labels.
