Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

Where the hell did she get that lyric from ! have you ever seen one ?

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

I think she's just referring to her wishes of blending two musical genres...(IE: I was wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair. In '77 and '69 revolution was in the air. I was born too late, to a world that doesn't care. Oh, I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair). Got it?

Edit: She gets it wrong with the whole '77 punk rock thing anyway. It started out in '76. The Sex Pistols had their first hit with Anarchy In The UK in December '76.

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

Thank God somebody else noticed! That's been bugging me for weeks!

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

lmfao no its a trip!

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

No, She's a stupid mixed up, twisted bint.

Her parents ought to be ashamed of themselves!

I can't stand it no longer, winds me right up!

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

not when i was a youth.. more like flob in their hair

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

my thoughts exactly, she clearly mental, what other excuse can she have for writing such utter rubbish

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

I am so so so pleased this has been brought up...I thought I was the only person who didn't understand that....

very very strange

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

STUPID LYRIC!

I mean how hard is it to say 'punk rocker with COLOURS in my hair'? It's even correct!!!!!

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

She is dreaming of the sixties man. Flower power.

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

I was alive(!) when people wore flowers in their hair. Even I can see that she's using imagery to project an idea. Please listen to the lyrics.

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

punk rockers never had flowers in their hair but i think shes trying to say she wants to be a mix of things like a hippie and a punkrocker fighting for freedom and all that rubbish.

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

It's a f*ckin' shite hippy song! I'm a real punk from the 1970s'!

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

There is a certain style of writing which is called Irony. You may have heard of it...damn, I'm doing it again.

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

The passage of time distorts many things methinks.

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

cos 69 was flower power generation hence reference to 69 revolution was in the air and 77 was the punk rocker era hence 77revelution was in the air and she wants to have the best of both the eras

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

Eh? I thought she was singing 'I Wish I was a prawn cracker, with fried rice in my hair...'

You've opened up a world of different lyrics for me now....

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

All artists, whether they are in the music business, painting business, or even writing poetry use something called an "Artistic licence". It means they get away with saying things that maybe don't make perfect sense, but they're fun and they sound different %26amp; unusual. I don't know why people are complaining about whether her lyrics are correct or not - it's better than her singing depressing songs, surely?

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

That song annoyed me! "oooh I wish I was a punk rocker with a staple through my lip" would have fitted so much better

Punk rockers with flowers in their hair?

It's a crap song yeah but I can think of one examaple.

Sioxuse And The Banshees, the girl in that band used to wear a flower in her hair and they were a punk band.
