Need help identifying a song, I saw the video on VH1, some guy laying down..?

Last Friday morning I was getting ready for work and I saw a video on VH1 that I really liked. I was in a hurry so I couldn't wait around to see who it was or what the song was called. It was a white guy with brown hair singing, and he kept laying on the ground in different places, one place was on the side of a cliff. Part of the lyrics included something about laying around with me and doing nothing... It was a slow ballad, a love song. Does anyone know what song this is??
