SOME OF THE LYRICS
I don't care if I did upset the jam and I won't say I,m sorry till I feel as if I am. I'm glad I stamped at Nancy and I,m glad I pulled her hair. you can stand me in the corner...I DON'T CARE,
Does anyone know the poem "I DON'T CARE"?
Is it a Shel Silverstein poem?
........I know I'm vulgar when I breathe into my glass,
ReplyDeleteI love to call my Uncle Joe a silly ass,
I'll go off to America and be a millionaire,
they'd wish that they'd been kinder then,
BUT I DON'T CARE.....
I don't care if I did upset the jam,
ReplyDeleteAnd I won't say I'm sorry till I feel as if I am.
I'm glad I stamped at nanny,
And I'm glad I pulled her hair,
They can stand me in the corner too,
But I don't care.
I don't care if I did walk on the grass,
And I'm glad I called my uncle Joe a silly ass,
I'll go off to America and be a millionaire,
They'll all be sorry then,
But I don't care.
I'll go out in the garden,
When the snow is deep and high,
Without any shoes on,
And catch a cold and die.
Then mum and dad will be a pair of orphans then,So there!
Cos they won't have any children left,
But I don't care.
I don't care if I did upset the jam
ReplyDeleteAnd I won't say I'm sorry til I feel as if I am
I'm glad I stamped at grandma and I'm glad I pulled her hair
You can stand me in the corner too but I don't care
I know I'm vulgar when I breathe into my glass
I'm glad I called my uncle Joe a silly arse.
I will go off to America and be a millionaire
You'll wish you had been kinder then but I don't care
I will go out in the garden when the snow is deep and high
Without any shoes on and catch a cold and die
Then Mum and Dad will be a pair of orphans then cos they won't have any children left
But I don't care
I had to learn this as a child for my elocution examination. I loved it. But it was Nanny, not grandma.
